Courses

eFIG Accreditation Course for Technicians:

1. Plant Identification & Application – To give delegates the knowledge and understanding needed to identify and apply at least 20 plants used within the interior landscape industry.

2. Containers & Watering Systems – To give delegates the knowledge and understanding needed in selecting the correct type of container as well as selecting and using the most appropriate type of watering system.

3. Pest & Diseases – To give delegates the knowledge and understanding needed to identify and control the main pest and diseases associated with interior landscaping.

4. Communication - Problem Solving & Delivering Service Excellence – To give the delegates the knowledge and understanding of excellent customer service, which will allow them manage and proactively resolve customer service problems effectively.

5. Basic Health & Safety in the Workplace – To give delegates the knowledge and understanding of their health & safety responsibilities to themselves and others whilst going about their daily work.

6. Manual Handling – To give the delegates the knowledge and understanding required to ensure the safe manual handling of goods whilst in the workplace. By completing the 6 modules technicians can become eFIG accredited and will be recognised at our Annual Awards.

Supervisory & Health and Safety Training


1. Risk Assessments – A formal course aimed at giving managers within an organisation the background and training to competently complete risk assessments and method statements associated with their business activities. This is a legal requirement under the Health &Safety at work act.

2. Manual Handling – This training course is designed to train managers and supervisors to a standard whereby they can train employees in safe manual handling techniques.

3. Emergency Aid in the workplace - for Appointed Persons
