27 March 2007Office Plants Re-cycled

Many clients ask the Interior Plantscapes team, what happens to their office plants when they come off contracts due to new displays or the plants generally getting too big. As a green company Interior Plantscapes practice what they preach and hate to see a good office plant go to waste so they re-cycle them!

Recently, they approached Nick Hopkinson MBE, one of the board members of the Bolton Lads & Girls club and asked if they would like their big office plants to brighten up the club. Nick was delighted at the opportunity and quickly got the plant displays installed on the Bolton site. “The impact with the kids has been great with them looking after the displays and seeing the benefits of plants in their environment”.

Bolton Lads & Girls Club was established in 1889 and provides a much needed place for young people to go with friends and engage in a variety of activities – far better than hanging out on the streets. The club encourages young people to fulfil their potential, develop self esteem and start on the road to becoming responsible citizens. There are now over 3500 children and young people utilising the clubs facilities and activities each week

Interior Plantscapes was delighted to donate the plant displays to the Bolton charity, showing their clients their dedication to reducing waste and supporting excellent North West Charities.
