* Wed, 13 June: Reflexology by the rosebush – Put your feet up and let the healing begin with a free taster session from reflexologist Sonia Desiderio who promises to pamper you from heel to toe.
* Also on Wed, 13 June: Learn the language of flowers - Clifton Nurseries’ florist, Nina Johannson, will be on hand to guide you through the colour wheel and help you create your own hand-tied bouquet that speaks for itself. Find out what you’re really saying when you give peonies, tulips or ranunculus!
* Wed, 20 June: Bringing nature into urban gardens - Clifton Nurseries’ own manager, Paul Mole, will share his know how to help you transform your outdoor space into a haven for birds and other naturally welcomed visitors.
* Wed, 27 June: Gorgeous Gardens & Gorgeous You! - Expert therapists from Savana urban spa in Westbourne Grove will be on site to give you a revitalising hand treatment. Featuring relaxing hand massage with ultra-moisturising organic shea butter, this treatment is a perfect indulgence for green fingers and work-weary hands. Clifton’s Managing Director, Tad Paluchowski, and Nursery Manager, Guy Pullen, will advise on the best shrubs and perennials for a prolonged display, and show you how to plant containers for late colour. * Wed, 4 July: Slugging match! – Learn what the experts do to keep away slugs and other garden ‘guests’. Guy Pullen, Nursery Manager, will put numerous theories to the test, taking the mystery out of pest control.
* Wed, 11 July: Orchid arrangements - Clifton Nurseries’ Manager, Stephen Davies, will demonstrate and advise on bespoke orchid arrangement designs to complement contemporary and traditional interiors.
* Wed, 18 July: Reflexology by the rosebush – Your feet are in good hands with reflexologist Kim Mendez, a former ballet dancer with the Royal Ballet, based at practices in Harley St, Pineapple Dance Studios and The Hale Clinic. Sit back and relax while Kim and colleagues treat your feet to a free reflexology taster session.
