26 February 2008 Easter Egg Hunt at Clifton Nurseries

19/03/2008 - Easter Egg Hunt and Plant Potting

Clifton’s Easter plant potting tray is popular with children who like to get their hands dirty. They can plant a seedling to take home with them and marvel at the magic of nature as it grows and blossoms. Colouring sheets and crayons will be provided for budding artists and completed ‘masterpieces’ can be exchanged for a packet of seeds. Clifton Nurseries is also holding a competition to name the two giant terracotta rabbits that inhabit the nursery. The lucky winner will receive an educational gardening kit, designed to encourage and nurture little green fingers. All events are free but adults are welcome to make a donation to the NSPCC in exchange for the chocolate animal treats.
