Following eFIG training sessions that took place in February and March 2008, the Federation is pleased to award eight, new eFIG Accreditations in the Interior Landscaping to its members.
Technicians awarded eFIG Accreditation:eFIG Accreditation scheme is designed as a low cost, comprehensive training programme aimed primarily at the industry’s operatives that gives the companies’ owners effective training for their staff.

eFIG Accreditation is awarded to those who have completed 4 one day training sessions comprising of 6 Modules:
1. Plant Identification & Application
2. Containers & Watering Systems
3. Pest & Diseases
4. Communication & Problem Solving – Delivering Service Excellence
5. Basic Health & Safety in the workplace
6. Manual Handling
“We are very pleased with new technicians obtaining eFIG Accreditation” said Alan Page who was involved from the start in setting up the scheme. “Our industry is about our technicians, they make our companies, but the bad ones can break the trust between us and our customers. The proper training for the technicians is vital and eFIG is committed to raising standards within the interior landscaping. ”
To complement eFIG training the federation’s members can also schedule in-house training without having to purchase expensive training DVDs. The borrowing of DVDs is free of charge and eFIG’s extensive library is available for members to borrow.
