Green Team Interiors Limited have a record number of 8 representatives participating in the Race for Life in Portsmouth on 1^st June 2008 (for the 8^th year "running"). 

Walking, jogging or running (or a combination of all 3) this year will be Ruth Neal (Managing Director), Els Corn (Customer Support Manager), Susan Dimbleby (Administration), Julia Churton (Sales), Tina Stubbs (Sales), Mary Kershaw (Operations Manager), Becky Goode (Accounts Manager) and Jolene Dean (Accounts).

Ruth has enjoyed each event - "it is great fun and a really enjoyable experience.  It is rewarding to feel that you are helping in the fight against cancer and humbling to meet other participants many of whom are battling with cancer.  For Green Team Interiors it has turned into an annual family team event."

Since it started in 1994, Race for Life has grown to become the UK's biggest women - only fundraising event. All the money raised by participants helps fund the crucial work of Cancer Research UK - the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research.

So far, over two million women of all ages have run, walked or jogged to raise over £140 million in sponsorship for the charity. This year they hope to raise £60 million for life-saving work by bringing an amazing 800,000 women together to raise money for Cancer Research UK.  Log on to www.raceforlife.org for further information.
