In 2008 Hampshire-based Interior Landscaping Company, Green Team Interiors Limited had a record number of 8 team members participating in this year’s Race for Life in Portsmouth, Chichester and York, raising over £600 and still counting.

Running this year are Ruth Neal (Managing Director), Els Corn (Customer Support Manager), Becky Goode (Accounting Manager), Mary Kershaw (Operations Manager), Susan Dimbleby (Customer Support), Julia Churton (Sales), Tina Stubbs (Sales) and Jolene Dean (Accounts).  

Everybody has enjoyed each event as Ruth says – “it is great fun and a really enjoyable experience.  It is rewarding to feel that you are helping in the fight against cancer and humbling to meet other participants many of whom are battling with cancer.  For Green Team Interiors it has turned into an annual team event and we are delighted that the new team members are joining as well.”

Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life began in 1994 to raise funds for the charity’s pioneering work to help beat cancer.  It is now the biggest women-only fundraising event in the UK, with every pound raised in sponsorship going towards furthering our ground-breaking work. This includes the scientists, doctors and nurses who work tirelessly to find new treatments for the disease.  To date, 3.4 million women have raised over £200 million for Cancer Research UK, the leading funder of cancer research in the UK.  Log on to www.raceforlife.org for further information.
